How do I join a class?

To join a class, you will first need to register for the class from the Class Schedule found in the Community Hub. Tip: Click on the "Day" icon to read about and register for an upcoming session. In your confirmation email, you will receive the link to access the class on the UtopiaVR platform. Note: It is recommended you use a Chrome browser on your desktop.

How do I change my avatar?

To change the name or any features of your avatar in the UtopiaVR platform, click the "Menu" button on the bottom right of the screen. Then, click "Change Name and Avatar".

My sound isn't great during class. What do I do?

To adjust your sound settings on the Utopia VR platform, click the "More" button in the bottom right hand of your screen. Choose "peferences", and adjust your volume setings as needed under the audio tab. To adjust the volume of your facilitator, or any media on screen while in class, simply hold the space bar and adjust the volume using the + and - buttons. It is also a good idea to ensure you are using good quality headphones.

Can I attend more than one class?

Yes! Your memberhship includes unlimited access to as many classes as you feel drawn to. In order to make the most out of this program and achieve the highest possible results, we recommend that you attend a class every day from Monday through Friday.

I keep getting kicked out! What do I do?

Ensure that all other tabs and major applications on your desktop are closed. Try refreshing your browser, and use Google Chrome for the best experience. If this doesn't help, try to restart your computer.

How can I support breathe?

While not at all necessary, we are grateful for all donations towards breathe and helping to better our offering for our community. Any donations may be given through PayPal. Thank you so much!

I feel tired or energerized after class. Is that normal?

It is normal to feel calm and relaxed following a class. Our unique classes are designed to activate your parasympathetic nervous system, which is the 'rest and digest' setting in your body. Many members have reported enjoying a deep and peacful sleep following the class if done before bedtime. On the contrary, meditation presents many benefits, one being our minds have an opportunity to evaluate and eliminate any negative thoughts, feelings or emotions that are taking up unecessary space. This can feel freeing and energizing. Many frequement A.M. meditators reported enhanced energy levels, focus and clarity for their day.

How do I join breathe on the app?

Go to your mobile app store and download the Spaces by Wix app. Join with the code "BREATHE" and login using the same email and password that you login to our website with. On this app, you will be able to participate in the Community Forum discussions, manage your Class Schedule bookings, send us a message, and more!

How do I practice mindfulness on the weekends when there are no classes?

Each Friday of our program, we will post the material for your weekend practice on our Community Forum. This may include guided meditations, as well as journal prompts to assist you in wrapping up your last weeks phase, and prepare you for the next.

What happens if I can't make a class at all one day?

If you aren't able to book into one of our classes from Monday to Friday, check out our daily post on the Community Forum. We will be providing daily journal prompts and other information regarding our mindfulness topic of the day.

How do I use the journal prompts effectively to practice mindfulness?

Here are some tips for an effective journaling practice:

  1. Keep your journal and a pen in a convenient location (i.e. beside your bed, on your desk, etc.)
  2. Try to journal daily, even if it's just for a few minutes.
  3. Write as structured or as unstructured as you like... there is no need to follow any particular guidelines. Just write whatever and however you wish, not worrying about spelling, grammar, or what others may think.
  4. Use your journal as you see fit - keep it completely to yourself, or share your thoughts with a professional or loved one if you think this may help you.
  5. Feel free to refer back to your journal to refelect on past thoughts, feelings, or ideas, but don't feel like this is necessary. The practice of journaling can be an effective way to relieve stress, manage your anxiety, identify emotions, and help you prioritize.

What happens if I missed a day?

Hopefully you were still able to spend 30 mins in a day practicing mindfulness :) If you missed scheduling a class or self-led day and want to go back and reflect on the daily topic, please check out the past daily posts on the Community Forum.

How do I prepare for a meditation class?

We recommend finding a quiet, comfortable place, away from any distractions. Stimulants such as caffeine and sugar should be avoided prior to class to ensure your mind and body are well prepared for the relaxing experience.

What are 'badges' and how do I earn them?
